Creating memories for the future...

We strive every year to provide the children and residents of Berkeley Springs with new and delightful traditions they can keep in their hearts long after the Christmas season is over!

Decoration

We can't list all of the Bath Christmas Project decorations here, but let's try: trees and lights at the Courthouse, wreaths on Town Hall, garland and bows in the State Park, Memorial Tree at the Pavilion, lights at the Train Depot, the Fleece Collection all around town and much, much more!

Engagement

We've got activities too! Berkeley Springs school children decorate ornaments and admire them hung in the center of town. There's Winterfest Parade, a free Christmas movie on the big screen. Letters dropped off at Santa's mailbox will get an answer from Santa himself.

...and celebrating the past.

The goals of our organization seem simple, but building Christmas memories is more than just putting up some lights. Here's just a taste of what we've done to honor Christmases past and breathe new life into old traditions.

Restoration

Starting with the Hovermale display, and moving on to the Victorian street lanterns, we've tackled some very ambitious restoration projects that ring true with the old timers just as much as they ring new with the children. Also restored were the Fleece collection of charming Christmas cutouts and next up on the list: street wreaths!

Preservaton

Through our "Memories of Christmas Past" Program on Facebook, we collect photos, news clippings and anecdotes of our Berkeley Springs residents celebrating Christmas as far back as they can remember. We've got snapshots going back to the 50s! Do you have something to contribute?
